fuschini is committed to ensure a quality service to all customers, visitors and users of the site, as well as all the stakeholders who are subject of personal data processing and/or private information of taxable persons, guaranteeing always the principle of confidentiality.

fuschini is responsible for all the data collected and treated by computer, committing itself to use, exclusively with a legitimate, legal and legally binding interest, ensuring the quality of the service provided.

the information collected will facilitate our internal management processes, such as ordering and billing, customer management, historical and statistical purposes, legal obligations, quality control of the service and potential contacts. to ensure the best service, it is imperative to transmit information of certain customer data – names, addresses, telephones, etc. – to third parties who collaborate in the provision of the service (eg.to carriers). the information collected will also allow us to transmit information with promotional purposes, through e-mail or telephone contact, and there may be automated decisions, such as profile definition, improving the offer against the needs of our customers.

all our customers and stakeholders may at any time exercise the following rights: right of access, rectification, forgetting (deletion of data), limitation, portability, opposition and right to withdraw consent.

all rights mentioned above may be exercised, subject to the limitations set forth in applicable legislation, upon written request and sent to rua engenheiro novre guedes, no17, r/c, 1500-261 lisboa or via email to info@fuschini.com.

terms & conditions

prices, taxes and customs

the public selling prices are always expressed in euros and refer to products delivered in our facilities. in case the expedition is made by fuschini, and if there’s nothing stipulated otherwise, the expedition is made against payment at checkout.

to countries in the european union (eu) the prices contain the portuguese vat of 23 %, and don’t contain custom taxes.

the prices include packaging, common in land transportation.

to countries outside the european union (eu), the prices don’t include vat, but there may be additional taxes in the destination’s country, to be paid by the buyer. the packages are not included on the price, in transport by sea or other special transportation. in these cases, all transport operations, insurance and custom expenses, are imputed to the buyer and the delivery takes place at its own risk.

in case the expedition is provided by fuschini, and if there’s nothing stipulated otherwise, it should be made against payment.

the payment should be made by visa, american express credit card, or paypal, for the liquid value, according to the sales condition, before the product leaves our facilities.

all the banking information provided is collected safely and isn’t revealed to any external organisation or to a third party.

warranty 24 months

fuschini is committed to correct all the defects resultant from conception, execution or installation by itself, except on the following cases:

fuschini’s obligation doesn’t apply if the flaw results from unsuitable conditions of installation or use, of the buyer’s responsibility.

the warranty’s period starts on the date of the product’s delivery to the address chosen by the buyer.

to benefit from the warranty, the buyer, after verification of the defect that he imputes to the delivery, must inform fuschini, committing it to paper if the initial communication was spoken. the buyer must mention the references and the details indispensable to a quick evaluation by the salesperson of the flaw.

after being informed, the salesperson must provide the correction of the defect, with all diligence and at its own responsibility.

fuschini’s responsability ends when it reaches the value of the product, before taxes. the refund will be made, in the same sort of the payment’s, until 10 (ten) days after the receipt of the returned product.

public liability

it is expressly excluded the responsibility of the salesperson for any damage or loss, personal or material, caused to the buyer or a third party, even accidental, while using the purchased product, or resulting from conservation efforts. we refer in particular, for security issues regarding people and goods, to products that, due to size and weight, should be fixed to the wall.

cookies policy

like most websites, ours also uses cookies. cookies are little text files stored on your computer by the internet browser. they are used, among other functions, to trace users while navigating on our website, remembering preferences, shopping carts and safety conditions of the website. it contains information about the computer’s use, but never personal information about the user. it does not contain virus.

jurisdiction

in case of litigation, and if a friendly agreement isn’t reached, it is expressly established that all litigations referring contracts settled with the buyer, in portugal, will be solved exclusively by the courts of justice of the judicial district of lisbon, excluding any other, even in the case of appeal or plurality of litigants.

in case of a buyer abroad, the litigation will be submitted to the united nations’ convention laws of international merchandise sales’ contracts.

ordering & shipping

shipping

in order to guarantee that the items are delivered in perfect conditions we have our own delivery service available in lisbon and porto. when this is available it is our preferred delivery method. if unavailable or if you choose to handle the delivery and assembly process yourself we can arrange for a dispatch of the goods through trusted partners. each option is described below:

delivery services

normally you will be charge for each order. if you order from us in more than one occasion within a limited time frame we can arrange to package and deliver all orders in one delivery service. please let us know this through our contacts page or by sending an email to info@fuschini.com. delivery service for lisbon or porto is charged €40 in the first piece and an additional €5 for every extra piece added. for the rest of the world we will give you a quote of the delivery services charge as soon as we can.
remember to check that all conditions for delivery – namely that required access through the entrance of the building and stairs or that a lift is available, and that entrance to the house and division where you want the item are cleared and have adequate dimension – are met. we only deliver items that need to be carried through a staircase up to a through up to a third floor, and if their weight is adequate to this situation (70kg). we will deliver and assemble the items to the room of your choice and packaging will be removed on your request. we do not remove or relocate your old items.

dispatch

if delivery is not available we will quote you the value for a professional delivery (but not assembly) to your address. if you accept it, this amount will be included in your final price of the order, that you will need to pay in advance. you will always have the choice to choose to collect the pieces at our warehouse through a dispatcher you contract directly. in such case no delivery cost will be charged. when dispatch is the delivery method, our responsibility for the handling of the products ends when we delivered them to the transporter. for any return or complaint to be accepted by us you will have to write in the delivery note any visible sign of mishandling or damage to the package upon receiving the items.

returns

we try to do everything we can to make you really happy to own a fuschini product. we take every measure to guarantee the quality and craftsmanship of our products. you know that we make and assemble every fuschini product in our factory in portugal. the items you ordered are not stored in one of our warehouses waiting to be delivered. in reality they do not exist when you order, they will come to life with your request. however, we know that sometimes you will have some problems with our products, or you can change your mind and wish to revert your decision to purchase. in such cases, the following policies will apply:

damaged items

we inspect all the items we make with the maximum care and attention. we normally assemble every item to test it before packaging and shipping. upon receipt, please inspect the package to check for any outside mark that may indicate damage in the item. if this is a piece that was transported by us, or by transport company contracted by us, contact our services through our contacts page or by sending an email to info@fuschini.com and we will arrange for a replacement or correction. if this a delivery you are receiving by a transporter contracted by you, please write your complaint or disclosure in the delivery note that will be presented to you by the distributer, and document in the best possible manner the damages you encounter. we can help you get your refund or a new piece paid by the transport or insurance company. if you fail to provide evidence of the packaging situation we may not be able to assume responsibility.

incomplete or defective items

no matter how hard we try, in some situations you will receive an incomplete or defective item. if this happens, please contact our services through our contacts page or by sending an email to info@fuschini.com, present your case and send any document we may need to check and confirm the defect or incompletion and we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

returns and refunds

our returns and refunds policies are in accordance with any rights that you, as a consumer that purchases goods online, are entitled under the law, specifically the consumer protection regulations 2000 – distance selling. for all items purchased online (or at our store) you are entitled to return your items for a refund of the purchase price and any shipping charges you paid. we will need the original proof of purchase from you. these refunds follow the next set of rules:

1. if you purchased any item of furniture or accessories chosen from our catalogue, just let us know that you wish to return the item(s) within 14 days of the date of delivery at your home. the return of the item is your responsibility, and you will need to to do it as soon as reasonably practicable. if the items were delivered to you by our delivery service we can arrange for a pick-up of the items and will charge you a fee for the service – our services will quote it for you before scheduling any collection. please note that you will be in a legal obligation to return the items in perfect condition and, whenever possible in the original packaging.

2. we accept that the return is made directly to our warehouse.

3. we cannot guarantee a refund for bespoke and special measures furniture, fabrics sold by the meter and pieces that are not in perfect conditions. your refund will be processed through the same payment method you used to pay the original order. this refund will be made as soon as possible and we try to process it in under 14 days. in any case not listed in the previous situations, please contact our services. even if you are not legally entitled to a refund we want you to be happy with any item you purchased from us, so we will evaluate any request you might want to make.
