The architectural office gonçalves vieira-cruz was founded by José Maria Gonçalves Vieira and Tomás Cruz in 2020. The work produced at the office includes several projects in very different places such as Vienna, Austria, Azores, Porto, Alenquer, Lisbon, Estoril, Comporta, Évora and Montemor-o-novo, in Portugal.
The practice has been awarded with several prizes in public competitions such as the first prize for Estádio Nacional in Jamor (with Manuel Aires Mateus), first prize for the Housing Project in Rua do Monte in Setúbal, second prize for Two Buildings in Técnico Alameda Campus in Lisbon, second prize for the School of Cascais, the third prize for Loures Cultural Center and the Secil National Universities Award, among others.
José Maria Gonçalves Vieira finished his master’s in architecture at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2014 when he won the Secil National Universities Award. In 2013 and 2014 he did an exchange program with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne where he was nominated winner at the EPFL BestOf Architectural Design 2013-2014. In 2015 and 2016 does his internship and collaborates at the office of Eduardo Souto de Moura in Porto.
He collaborated with the office of Manuel Aires Mateus in Lisbon from 2016 to 2020.
Tomás Cruz finished his master’s in architecture at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2016 where he studies under the coordination of João Pedro Falcão de Campos and Ricardo Bak Gordon. He attends the National Music Conservatory School, until the 5th degree of classical guitar. In 2014 and 2015 he does an exchange program with TU Graz and collaborated with the office Riegler Riewe. He collaborated with the office of João Pedro Falcão de Campos in Lisbon from 2016 to 2020.

In order to guarantee that the items are delivered in perfect conditions we have our own delivery service available in Lisbon and Porto. When this is available it is our preferred delivery method. If unavailable or if you choose to handle the delivery and assembly process yourself we can arrange for a dispatch of the goods through trusted partners. Each option is described below:
delivery services
Normally you will be charge for each order. If you order from us in more than one occasion within a limited time frame we can arrange to package and deliver all orders in one delivery service. Please let us know this through our contacts page or by sending an email to info@fuschini.com. Delivery service for Lisbon or Porto is charged €40 in the first piece and an additional €5 for every extra piece added. For the rest of the world we will give you a quote of the delivery services charge as soon as we can.
Remember to check that all conditions for delivery – namely that required access through the entrance of the building and stairs or that a lift is available, and that entrance to the house and division where you want the item are cleared and have adequate dimension – are met. We only deliver items that need to be carried through a staircase up to a through up to a third floor, and if their weight is adequate to this situation (70kg). We will deliver and assemble the items to the room of your choice and packaging will be removed on your request. We do not remove or relocate your old items.
